Curtain

The Town Gate rolling shutter curtain is built for durability and smooth operation. Horizontal rods are continuous and spaced 2” on center, available in either a 6” brick pattern or a 9” straight lattice pattern. All exposed components are made from aluminum for long-lasting performance.

Tubular spacers, available in PVC, aluminum, or stainless steel, cover the horizontal rods, while continuous end links are engineered to keep the curtain securely within the guide rails at all times.

Bottom Bar

Reinforced with two cold rolled galvanized steel or stainless-steel angles to strengthen and stabilize the curtain.
Options: Extruded aluminum “T” or tubular.

Guides

14 Ga roll-formed steel tracks bolted to the wall mounting angle.
Options: Extruded aluminum guide with felt strip, G-guide configuration in steel or stainless steel.

Counterbalance Assembly

A precision-balanced shaft limits deflection to 0.03″ per foot of door width. Torsion springs are helical-type, designed with a 25% overload factor. Springs are grease-packed and mounted on a cold-rolled steel inner shaft.
Features: External spring tension adjustment and sealed ball bearings to reduce shaft wear and ensure easy operation.

Hood (Optional)

Square or raund galvanized steel hood for protection and a clean, finished appearance.

Option: Stainless steel and powder coating colors.

Locking Options

Standard comes with slide locks for padlocks or cylinder locks

Optional: Electronic locking system.
