Curtain

• Town Gate Mall Security Grille (Heavy Duty): Horizontal 5/16” solid galvanized wire with anodized aluminum tube spacers (option: stainless steel).
• Town Gate Mall Security Grille: Solid 5/16” aluminum or galvanized rods (no sleeves).
• Vertical Spacing: Aluminum or stainless steel vertical links 2” on center.
• Security: Continuous end links with lock washers prevent curtain from leaving guides.
• Finish Options: Galvanized, Clear Anodized Aluminum, Stainless Steel, or PVC over galvanized rods.

Bottom Bar

• Extruded aluminum tubular profile, 2” x 3 ½” (dimensions may vary depending on door dimensions).

Brackets

• Material: 3/16″ cold rolled steel or galvanized with ball bearing support
• Shape: 16″ hexagon profile for maximum support.
• Finish Options: Hot dip galvanized or stainless steel

Guides

• Material: Heavy-duty extruded aluminum guides with felt strip inserts for quiet operation. Snap-on covers conceal fasteners for a clean look. Removable bellmouth stops allow curtain service without dismantling guides. Guides fastened with ⅜” bolts, 24” on center.
• Optional finish: Powder coating or clear anodized aluminum.

Counterbalance Assembly (Torsion System)

Engineered pipe to minimize deflection to 0.03” per-ft of width.
Helical torsion springs with 25% overload factor, grease-packed and mounted on cold-rolled steel shaft.
Tension adjustable externally.
Sealed ball bearings reduce shaft wear.
Cycle life: 20,000 to 400,000.

Locking Options

• Cylinder keylocks on the outside
• Thumbturn Locks on the inside

Hood (Optional)

• Material: 22 ga galvanized steel hood to fully close the coil.
• Shape:  hexagon, round and square
• Finish: Galvanized or customizable powder-coat colors.

Fascia (Optional)

Matches curtain finish for a uniform look.

Ideal for between-jamb installations or conditions where the coil side is exposed.

Durable Curtain Grilled Assembly
Constructed from 6″ or 9″ Straight or brick pattern Grilled is made with PVC sleave over 5/16 hot dipped galvanized horizontal rods space 2 1/4 ” O C. Aluminum alternated vertical links and continued end link, offer excellent resistance to forced entry and wear.

Hand chain Lift Operation
No motor needed. Designed for simple, daily chain lift operation use a chain method with ergonomic handling as an option this gate can be motorized, Town Gate offer a frontal Smart motor, frontal regular motor, tubular motor, gear head motor and belt drive motor build exclusive for this type of door.

Installation Overview

Town Gate doors are built for quick and clean installation in standard masonry or framed openings.

Rolling steel doors are engineered to be durable, strong, and cost-effective—both in installation and long-term maintenance.

Please note: Preparation of openings, structural or miscellaneous steel work, access doors, finish or on-site painting Town Gate installation team can do it if need it.

Electrical wiring, conduit, fuses, and disconnect switches, fall under the responsibilities of other contractors or trades involved in the project.

• Manual Push-Up Operation:
  Town Gate Co. offers a reliable manual push-up option designed for storefronts and other commercial settings. Ideal for doors up to 120 square feet (maximum 12′ wide x 12′ high), this operation method provides a simple and durable solution for everyday use, requiring no electricity—perfect for locations where power is limited or not needed.
• Town Gate Central Motor Operation
  For added convenience, Town Gate offers the Central motor operator as an optional upgrade. Classified and built for 115V, 60 Hz, this system provides smooth, automated performance. Commonly used in storefronts, warehouses, and open-air commercial spaces, the motorized operation can be paired with push-button, key switch, remote control, keypad and internet App for secure and user-friendly access.
• TG Frontal Motor
  Engineered for performance and reliability, our Smart Motor features 100% copper windings, ensuring enhanced durability and power. Equipped with overheat protection, it automatically shuts off at 110°C and resets at 70°C. The built-in mechanical limit switch allows precise positioning for both open and close cycles. Operable via 3 station button (Up/Stop/Down), key switch.
  It also includes manual chain operation and clutch release for power outages. Its noise-reduction planetary gear system.

• TG tubular motor
  The Tubular Motor is a compact operator designed for rolling doors and counter shutters. It features a built-in hand crank overdrive and offers a limit switch capacity for up to 40 revolutions. This motor is ideal for applications where space is limited, and manual chain hoist is not required.
• Lift Master Gear Head Motor
  Our Gear Head Motor is an industrial-duty, gear-reduced jackshaft operator with high starting torque. It offers full overload protection and is removable without affecting limit switch settings. The motor includes a low voltage control circuit (24 VAC) and is factory pre-wired with all electrical components in a NEMA 1 enclosure.
• V Belt Lift Master
  Designed for roll up doors, our V-Belt Hoist Operator features a hand chain for manual use, a maintenance alert system, and a max run timer to prevent over cycling. Available in models up to 1 HP for reliable daily operation.
